I don't think this bug is related to Jockey. The logs show that both the removal and the installation of the driver went well. The fact that when you run the OS in low graphics mode Jockey says that the driver is not in use is expected. After all low graphics mode is meant to kick in when the

I read on the Ubuntu forums that if you repeat the installation through jockey it might work. I tried reinstalling the driver and then restarting the computer, and this time it worked fine. The only problem appears to be with a low resolution ubuntu theme in plymouth at startup and shutdown, but I
