Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When playing most songs in Rhythmbox, the track progress bar doesn't
move. It stays at the beginning and cannot be dragged to seek either.
The current play time at the top-right displays correctly though, and
Rhythmbox does advance to the next song when the current one is
complete.

I have noticed that the songs for which the progress bar doesn't work
all have Unknown for their Time column in the library. The songs for
which the progress bar _does_ work show their correct time there. So
obviously that's the root problem.

This bug is the same as bugs 442304, 459571, 499708, but I have been
directed to open a new one. The workaround described on bug 499708 did
not work for me. Removing all songs from the library and then re-
importing them doesn't fix the problem of the Time column being Unknown
for most songs.

FYI, I observed this problem back in Karmic too.
