Just recently Dave Morley (davmor2) and myself were using Ubuntu One to
share documents we were working on together. When I went to my local
Ubuntu One folder (Ubuntu 10.10) it was not synced. I've attached all
the logs and related screenshots from server / client to this comment...

your logs don't show the same problem as Darius. In fact, from the logs
I can not detect a problem at all. Please open a dedicated report with
the whole content of the log directory:
~/.cache/ubuntuone/log
and describe with as much edtail as possible what you're experiencing.

I'm affected by this bug on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit machine. I've
upgraded to Lucid by doing a fresh install, but leaving my Home folder
from Karmic which was on a separate partition (with Ubuntu One folder in
it).
I now see a gray icon with an exclamation mark on Ubuntu One folder and
all files a
Ah, when I returned to my machine today things have changed:
I now see directory structure synchronized but no files. I guess this
means that I'm now experiencing bug 573007. All the folders show the
locked/syncing emblem.
I have no idea if this is all related to the same root cause or not.

Sorry, I think I got the button part wrong (I'm not at the machine right
now). Its the username/chat/status button I clicked I think (Me Menu?).

I removed the duplicate flag as you requested. From the logs attached, I
see that the account being synchronized has no content in it. If you
login to the web UI, do you see your content there? If so, could you
please attach a screenshot of that?

This is probably related to current issues with sync. We have a new
Status page that contains information about this issue.

I also updated the FAQ that you mentioned. It now prompts users to check
the Status page first before doing a re-install.

I have just tried a complete remove and reinstall of the Ubuntu One client as
per the following FAQ:

error in syncdaemon-exceptions.log.

One other point to mention:
I have no status icon in my system tray related to Ubuntu One (don't
know if this has been removed from Lucid). I was expected to see some
kind of status icon telling me that Ubuntu One had failed to sync.
