Jeremy, this problem is only present on jaunty kernel, with lucid everything works up to 1000Mbit. But i have a lot of computers running jaunty here and i can't make a migration to lucid now. So i'm going to use my custom-kernel but i don't like this idea due to security updates. Here is a patc
