I just had the crash immediately following HD install from the Knot 2
Alternate CD. Bug Buddy hung everything up so hard I had to quit out of
it before the browser would respond at all...

Updated edgy on Tue 5th September 2006 around 6 pm GMT and the menu works ok
now, so does the alacarte menu editor.

(choppy cursor updates etc), crashes after 3-4 seconds. Running edgy,

I am seeing the same issue.
I also like to note that a number of python packages are being held back
after I did a dist-upgrade from dapper (clean install).

python-gadfly
python-htmlgen
python-htmltmpl
python-imaging
python-imaging-sane
python-jabber
I had the same crash. Here is probably the same bug report.
