The guest is not required to use SDL though. The guest could use a vnc
connection (I don't think audio is available when using a vnc connection
either.)
Although I am not sure of the actual issue with having X installed
though. Is the issue the extra space used? If so, wouldn't the extra
space
These are dependencies necessary for qemu to be able to support SDL
windows and audio in the guest.
