Well, since Network-Manager goofed up (in a different way) on Precise
for me (bug filed separately), I deinstalled it again.
Can someone else please confirm if this is fixed in Precise and answer
to Mathieu's comment #5?

AFAIK this should be fixed at least in Precise if not in other releases
since Lucid. Can someone please confim?
