errating movements, when multitouch is activated and since multitouch is

Hello Chase, you are right. After reverting back to the Lucid version of
xserver-xorg-input-evdev the mouse works much better. The jittery mouse
movement when you touch the surface is gone.

I realized that the multitouch xorg-edgers ppa includes a version of
xserver-xorg-input-evdev that probably would cause this to occur. The
package is old and the changes will not be brought forward in that form,
so I just deleted it from the PPA altogether.

First, the magicmouse drivers are unsupported in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
That said, this is likely an Xorg evdev module issue. Something may be
misconfigured, or there may be a bug.

I have installed the multitouch-kernel package and it worke well for me until
May-25.
On 25-May I have used the magic mouse normally, but today it isn't working well
and the mouse seems to be recognized as a touchpad and I can move the cursor
by touching the surface only. Yesterday everything
I just updated multitouch-kernel-source to v1.5. The problem is still
there.
