I could reproduce this by setting the application launcher dialog to
shortcut Shift+Alt+8 and Shift+Alt+9 using a german keyboard layout
(deadgraveacute) where Shift+8 represents "(" and Shift+9 represents
")". The dialog did not start using those two shortcuts (Alt+F2 and
other random shortcuts di
