Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
In the sound preferences "Hardware" tab, if I change the Profile for a device to "Off", all sound stops and all sound-related settings are disabled - so far so good. But, when I switch it back to "Analog Stereo Duplex", input is still disabled, only "Dummy Output" is listed in the output tab, and all sound and volume controls are still disabled. Only fix is to restart pulseaudio. Not a big issue - I only did this by accident, it's not going to be a common action - but I figure as long as the profiles are there they should work properly. ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- After changing device profile to "Off", it can't be reenabled without restarting pulseaudio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578853 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
