Some Problem with my Thinkpad W510. But I have found a workaround for me: You have to plug in the soudcard before you boot and you have to use the usb2.0 Port not the 3.0 port. I have no clue, why this is a difference but for me this works. Nevertheless this sucks. -- ThinkPad W510 only

I think this might generally be related to USB Audio as I see the same behavior with my Bus 003 Device 003: ID 0ccd:0028 TerraTec Electronic GmbH Aureon 5.1 MkII pavucontrol shows only input devices for the soundcard but no output devices. The interesting thing is, that aplay -l shows the
