492392 but this lists older kernel as fixed.
510004 but display does not look like it is in console mode.
For display see photograph

http://ubuntuone.com/p/3S1/

of the display after resuming and after submitting of the password.
Before submitting the password the vertical lines were visible for too
short a time to take a picture (timing problem).

574848 but only occasionally the screen is totally blank. I did also
test the live cd of lucid and it resumed with blank screen from suspend.
No horizontal lines.

Steps to reproduce
1. Start computer
2. After booting to desktop select from top right menu suspend
3. After suspending press power button
4. Screen shows only occasional gray horizontal lines with max height of
aproximatelly 1 in.
5. Input password -> vertical lines will be drawn for a longer time, can fill
the screen up to 2/3rd:s of the height. Also the lines will have more colors
than gray.

It should be noted that 9.10 had similar occasional issue. With 9.10 the
screen occasionally got garbled when switching user or after pressing
ctrl+alt+f(n). But with 9.10 suspend worked and the display normally
would revert back to normal after pressing ctrl+alt+f(n) a few times
with different (n)'s. Also the behaviour was notably different as can be
seen from photograph

http://ubuntuone.com/p/3SJ/

Also it should be noted that with lucid ctrl+alt+f(n) trick does not work and
altGr + sysrq + k does not have any effect.
Also it should be noted that workaround of adding kernel command line option
radeon.new_pll=0 as mentioned in bug 543045 does not have any effect.
