Yes, I read the comment, but it did not explicitly say that the issue is
unique to Firefox so I just wanted to make sure. I have been testing
this with different versions of Firefox on my system using clean
profiles and have not been able to reproduce it yet, which is why I
wondered if the problem
I see.
So I'm going to retest the problem but this time under the live-cd and again
with the browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll set to true as it is under Windows.

please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists?
You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you
might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one
by one until
