Public bug reported: Binary package hint: eog
I pulled these file over from a few years ago. I could read them on win98 using a similar free package. Right now it fails to show anything and this is what it tells me. Error interpreting JPEG image file (Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x8c 0x00) I'm sure my friend scanned them from a photograph that he had taken 10 or 15 years ago. The file was named Grnsat.jpg. I have the same problem with F spot etc. I could see it in win98 maybe it lost a few bits in converting between outlook and evolution but some of the images were okay.
