cs46xx dsnoop issue already fixed upstream, will merge into 7.04's alsa-
lib if 1.0.14rc1 is not merged.
Mauro, your symptoms are not relevant to the ones in this bug report.
Please file a separate one for your driver (emu10k1).

alsactl -f asound.state store 0
and attach the file asound.state?

I tested it also with UBUNTU EDGY KNOT2 live CD and I get the same problems.
ps. In the mean time am using my onboard sound from the NFORCE2 chipset.
Hoping that this issue will be resolved so I can use FORTISSIMO II properly

just tested it with UBUNTU BREEZY LIVE CD and UBUNTU DAPPER LIVE CD just
to be sure I didnt change something with my DAPPER INSTALL but exactly
the same thing happens on LIVE CDs also.
