You are correct. Even the same problem is there in Ubuntu 9.04,
9.10,10.04,10.10. And i'm sure this will be there in 11.04 also. Just
this bug is propagating. I'm waiting for a fix for this.

This will not fix with PPA module of alsa( I tried already). Still this
bug is there i can see the same issue for the following card. This bug I
can see from Ubuntu 9.04
