Public bug reported:

to reproduce:
make some backups, until old backups are purged and newer are renamed to the 
names of the old one.
verifiy checksum whith 'backup2l -v'  -->checksum-file is corruptet

to fix it:
in file /usr/sbin/backup2l Line 403 shoud be corrected
current line:
sed "s/ $VOLNAME.$SRC/ $VOLNAME.$DST/" < $CHK > $TMP.check
new line:
sed "s/$VOLNAME.$SRC/$VOLNAME.$DST/" < $CHK > $TMP.check

just delete the two spaces! works for me.
