You need to put the link between brackets to have mimms work properly.
so instead of

use
mimms

You should report it to the upstream project and mark it here, or simply leave

Thanks for helping make libmms better! I've found myself unable to give
libmms the love and care it needs, so I've passed maintainership over to
Hans de Goede who has chosen to maintain the project on SourceForge
instead of Launchpad. As such, I'm closing this bug. I encourage you to
file this bug
I've got the same error, but only with seekable streams.
Mimms still works perfectly with non-seekable streams.
Would you please try using a non-seekable stream?
