Ok, if I start laptop with CD Live, the sound in impress is ok, all
correct.
I don't know the problem in my Lucid installation. When I have more
things I will post here.

I have erased (renamed really) the directory ~/.openoffice.org, and the
OpenOffice.org have created a new user directory (~/.openoffice.org) and
now the sounds are inserted correctly.

Hi, I had some problems in select other sound in the transition pane in
Open office, it seems that the selector cant pick names of files and
finally find some reasons and fixes to that.
First check that language support have all the necessary elements, most
important if you use another language
Desktop is Gnome.
The packages are installed
The error is present.
Note: I can do it in Windows and read the file in Ubuntu (ppt because
odt don't embed sounds in the file), but I can't add sound file with
OpenOffice impress in Ubuntu (so I think the problem is not gstreamer or
codecs).

packages resolve the problem?
