Of course I understand from the error-message that I have to remove
helix. But I think that is something that apt should tell and take care
of like it usually does. My boss for example would not have managed to
understand this.

I.e "conflicts: helix-player" to be added to the dependency info.

I can confirm this issue with Ubuntu 6.06.1, i386. It is depandency
problem, realplayer package declares depandency on xlibs package but
that package is not available:
# apt-get install xlibs
