Public bug reported:
I installed upstart and upstart-compat-sysvinit and did the reboot -f as
instructed on the -devel mailing list. It booted OK. Only problem: I
cannot reboot. Every time I choose to reboot (reboot or shutdown -r
now)my system actually halts. "shutdown -h now" works, unsurprisingly,
fine.
I have usplash. During the reboot process, right before usplash comes up
again, I noticed the following message "Init: rc6 killed by signal 15"
which doesn't appear during shutdown and seems relevant :-)
I don't really know how to debug upstart - please ask for any
information needed.
