I uninstalled and reinstalled all of the ubuntone* packages and managed to get
61MB after 2 weeks (out of 18GB).
No joy yet.
I'm too prone to lose flash drives to use that as a workaround. :
I found a work-around. It involves using an actual flash drive and
copying the files over.
