Title:
DSUM() does not recognise concatenated values for search criteria
I have long ago given up waiting for this bug to be fixed and am again
using Microsoft Excel. We may not like them, but at least Microsoft
listen to problems and fix them. The 'open' community is an uncaring or
ineffective community in my experience.

I just discovered this bug today, wondering why my sheet with 200 DSUM()
didn't work anymore, in 10.04, while it worked perfectly with several
versions of OOo in OSX and XP.
The OOo team seems to know about it and not care much more than people here :-(
(No I don't have the time to fix it)

OpenOffice:
ooo-build 3.2.0.10, Debian 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.2
The following symptoms were observed:
* Cell A31 (the DSUM) displayed "399" no matter what starting date I
entered in cell A3. In other words, it didn't matter whet

Confirmed for openoffice.org-calc 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1. Attached is
another example .ods sheet showing a bad DSUM result. The problem
appears to manifest for *any* formula-based search criteria. The
following summarizes what is demonstrated in the attached sheet:

What's the point in reporting if 5 months later nothing has been done about it?
The spreadsheet and its functionality are important to me and so I have long
ago returned to Bill Gates' offering. Over priced, over bloated and
dictatorial his offering may be, but at least it works.
