I have found the cause of this bug. K3b under 10.04 appears to write at
the maximum drive speed, not the maximum media speed, and does not
notice any errors. I had this exact same problem with two separate
download and burns. I copied the ISO over to my Toshiba notebook and
used the Toshiba CD c
