The problem is that the error message isn't really meaningful and I just find
the missing package by google the error message. Maybe it would be possible to
add an simple install dialog, similar to the dialog, where you can install
missing audio codecs.

we don't put full dependencies on things like mono-devel and the gtk#
devel packages, because monodevelop can be used for non-gtk or non-mono
stuff. there's a rationale for a recommends or suggests though
