But we don’t need to wait for all the libavutil49 rdeps to be rebuilt
before removing libavutil-extra-49. Those dependencies can be satisfied
by libavutil49 instead. Since maverick’s libavutil-extra-49 is
completely broken—it is literally an empty package except for
/usr/share/doc—libavutil49 is

the fact that libavutil-extra-49 is broken is unfortunate. the correct
fix is to rebuild all packages listed here: http://people.canonical.com

Remove libavut
This will also prevent something like devede from being installed and thereby
breaking other apps that depend on libavutil49
(devede is incorrectly configured to only use the extra version
