The CD burn verify also has a variant of this problem -- it starts
verifying, and after verification is 49% done, it suddenly says Could
not find file ... (which it presumably *was* verifying all along).

I can confirm I still have exactly this same bug on Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy) (K3b:

I would also like to point out that when you burn an dvd ISO image, via
Tools Burn DVD image, and select the verification option, the
verification is done.
