I have the same issue with a different webcam. I would like to add, that VLC fails to open the cam out of the box. However, I found that the following command opens the cam just fine (only a few Input/Output errors, but the image is fine): vlc -I dummy v4l2:///dev/video0 --video-filter scene --n
