Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have the
same issue by running gst-launch-0.10 -t filesrc
location=/path/to/my/musicfile.ogg ! decodebin ! fakesink? Could you
try to run that command and copy any error to a comment?

before hanging? What it's hanging could you get a backtrace by running
