The only difference between this and my previous experiences is that I started
both butterfly and haze from console.
1 - Next I put my laptop to sleep.

if you want to connect to hotmail you have to use your hotmail ID. using
your gmail ID for hotmail does not work.

Thats actually my live ID account, I have associated my preexisting
email(@gmail.com) to it.
It works on windows live messenger.

I can confirm this, however I am unable to connect to either regardless
of what is enabled and disabled. I simply cannot get MSN or AIM to
connect. I simply get a network error, and if I try and click reconnect
it instantly returns the network error, it doesn't appear that it is
even attempting to
Now it doesn't connect to either network(only gtalk, google ftw).
I'll try to restart and see what happens.
