Public bug reported: Binary package hint: apt
apt-mark is an utility that is included in the apt package and it depends on python-apt to be installed, but 'python-apt' is only suggested by 'apt'. Shouldn't it be a dependency rather than a suggestion, since apt-mark can't do anything useful without it? ** Affects: apt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- apt-mark doesn't function without python-apt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/600230 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
