I'm running an HP Elitebook 8530w with Nvidia Quadro FX card and have a
similar issue. There's another bug that's been filed that also seems
similar. Basically my system freezes and the only way to recover is to
hold down the power button. THIS SUCKS! It's been a problem for me
since upgrading
