Ok here's a patch. I've used the livecd to add askubuntu.com and
ubuntuforums.org to the default bookmarks under the folder "Ubuntu and
Free Software links". I've then exported this to a html file which is
attached.
This belongs in the archive /usr/lib/firefox-11.0/omni.ja thanks.

Agreed that this could be updated, but as zekopeko mentions no need to
promote private blogs.
To add to the list, http://ubuntu.stackexchange.com/ can also be
included.

Hi there.
It would definitely be worth it to include a link to UbuntuForums.
Anyone else think that it's strange that in the installer there are all
references to ubuntu.com, but in the initial install, the firefox
bookmarks point to ubuntulinux.com?
Speaking of 10.04 by the way, not 10.10.

I do think that http://www.ubuntu.com/support would be a good addition

I got some links wrong so I've edited the links.

With all the changes going on in Ubuntu and new people coming in it
really is time to update the default bookmarks.
This seem like a good list that include solutions for common problems
that people have on a first time install.
