this issue has reached end of life, and the issue is fixed in newer versions of

I downloaded the edgy openssh 4.3 source package and patches, built that
linked against dapper binaries. This binary works fine. So either the
updated patch, or something in 4.3 fixes it. It would be nice if the
specific fix could be backported to dapper. Thanks!
