I am facing the same problem with a Lucid fresh install. However, i had
facebook working fine under 9.10 (Karmic). I upgraded one of my
installations from Karmic to Lucid and it continued to work fine. It's a

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug 614742, so is being marked as such. Any
further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report.
Had this issue as well but within 10 attempts at random times during the
day it just kept failing and suddenly on attempt 8 or 9 it showed the
grant permissions dialog from facebook immediately after clicking on the
add button.
