This was incorrectly referred. So, pls see that it doesn't happen again
So whatever FTP client you use, you don't manage to connect? That really
doesn't look like there is a bug in FileZilla.

The result with Filezilla was the same as with Terminal or with
'Places', a failure to connect.
I reinstalled 10.04 to get FTP working. I has again stopped working.
With 'Connect to Server from Places, I get a Cannot display location'
'Unexpected end of stream'. Bluetooth file transfer,
