I understand that this is quite old but thought I'd share a really handy
script which provides a granular wake from suspend device selection GUI.
The script and instructions can be found here and it would be wonderful
if this could be implemented into Ubuntu.

The Power Manager window in 10.10 does not offer options to wake on USB,
or as the original reporter (and I) would like, using finer grained
device selection.

Has anything been added to the new Power Manager version with respect to
this bug ?
I have only installed Maverick inside VirtualBox so far but I didn't see
any additional options inside the Power Manager application to
enable/disable wakeup using the keyboard and/or mouse. I guess it is
possible

Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on
Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with
