hey i guess i cant install or run ubuntu :( in my computer becose of a
ATI hd2600 xt graphics card in a m2r32 amdx2 mother board,it always
crash i guess that is the reason but always since the last version ive
been unable to install ubuntu why dont you simply use the basic graphics
to the instalati
At least many of these problems are fixed in latest daily-live images
(not Herd 2, but after that).
ati is not a "wrong" driver, there was just a problem with it delegating
control to the radeon part of it.

Wrong driver
Just wanted to add a 'me too' - wrong xorg driver is chosen on my very
generic Dell Dimension 5150 with cheap Radeon X300 PCIe..
