Still exists in Lucid too (under LTS).
Same bug as #34795, but a different use case.
Please could we have higher importance for this bug? I have to install a
patched GDM on the laptops for the school I'm working at to disable the
single login check.

I'm seeing the same issue on a kiosk system which I've just rebuilt on
Lucid. It was running Hardy, where the auto-login did occur properly
after the user logged out.
