Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cacti

1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Release: 10.04

2) apt-cache policy cacti
cacti:
  Installed: 0.8.7e-2
  Candidate: 0.8.7e-2
  Version table:
 *** 0.8.7e-2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

apt-cache policy software-center
software-center:
  Installed: 2.0.5
  Candidate: 2.0.5
  Version table:
 *** 2.0.5 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2.0.2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages

3) What I expected to happen is when I try to install the package Cacti
through the Ubuntu Software Center, it would walk me through a clean
install, prompt me for relevant information and then I can begin using
it.

4) What happened instead is that mid-install of Cacti, after inputting
and confirming the SQL password, it prompted me to either abort, retry,
or ignore something regarding dbg-common or something like that. I
tried abort, retry, then ignore. Once I choose ignore, Ubuntu Software
Center crashed.
