I installed this on my Asus K70-IJ running Ubuntu 11.04, nothing much changed
really, jack sense still not functioning as it should. IN alsamixer, the
Headphone slider is finally available but doesnt do anything. A new option
called Dynamic Power-Control has appeared, which seems to kill

@Tran Chi Thanh, a major rewrite of the via codec driver is in progress
upstream. You are encouraged to try it instead:

I just tried it and unfortunately it didn't change anything.
I am not sure how to verify whether I am running your module though: at
the end of the installation there was a message telling it wasn't able
to build a module for the running kernel, but there are snd-hda-*
modules in
