I was able to get my fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit on my Zino to
work.
I followed the wiki instructions Luke provided. I tried installing via
command line but it couldn't find the package. Installing by Synaptic
worked.
Rear audio jack works. I haven't tested fronts.

Was very excited to see this thread updated with instructions on how to
install the latest drivers. Very disappointed to find it didn't work on
my Ubuntu 11.04 installation, however. Has anyone else running 11.04
reported success?
This bug remains (for me) one of the two most annoying issues with
Luke, I've finally had a chance to try out the latest drivers. I
installed linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.32-33-generic (I'm running
10.04) and the rear audio jack now works. Fantastic. Thanks very much.

Even if the Janitor marked the bug as expired, it's still a real bug

Installed 10.10 32b on Zino HD and solved all problems except this one.
Analog rear jack doesn't work, front one OK. Installed alongside W7, and
no audio problems at all with W7 and rear jack.

I have the same problem on 10.10. Audio doesn't work on either front or
rear jack. Works fine in Windows. The HDMI audio works fine.

Hi - thanks for the reply.
I tried installing linux-alsa-driver-modules-generic (24.201007620500)
from that PPA. Rebooted. This, unfortunately, made the problem worse:
1) neither front nor back audio jack produced sound output.
2) On opening the sound applet -> preferences, the only device show
Could you please install the package linux-alsa-driver-modules-generic
fro the Ubuntu Audio Dev PPA, https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-audio-
dev/+archive, and reboot your system. Once you reboot, could you please
check te rear jack to see whether it now works?
Thanks.
