Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.17-7-generic
Since upgrading from dapper to edgy (and consequently losing ir-kbd-gpio), the computer is completely unable to recognize and/or use Winfast 2000XP RM (bttv compliant) infrared remote port. Tried everything, but nothing works. --- "dmesg | grep bt" sends me: [17179585.464000] bttv: driver version 0.9.16 loaded [17179585.464000] bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for capture [17179585.464000] bttv: Bt8xx card found (0).
