i have the same problem, but with a Realtek ALC665. Took me several weeks to get it working after the release of Lucid, and the only way I can get sound is by compiling Realtek's version of the alsa-drivers (1.0.23-5.15rc5) (from here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx%3FLangi
