Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable a PPA repository with add-apt-repository 2. Upgrade Ubuntu (for example from Karmic to Lucid) 3. Notice that PPA packages are not available, run add-apt-repository again What happens: add-apt-repository does not uncomment the line in the relevant file under /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ What should happen: add-apt-repository recreates the relevant file enabling the repository, or at least give a message telling that the repository is disabled and that manual action is needed. ** Affects: software-properties (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- add-apt-repository does not re-enable repos disabled in upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610142 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
