Public bug reported:

Trying to install 'netmask' (a small tool for computing IP network
masks), apt tells me that the package is unsigned.

  $ sudo apt-get install netmask
  ...
  After unpacking 86.0kB of additional disk space will be used.
  WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated!
    netmask
  Install these packages without verification [y/N]?

Using '--print-uris' aswell, says that this file would be:

'http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/n/netmask/netmask_2.3.7_i386.deb'
netmask_2.3.7_i386.deb 19126 35790de54e3ba6b7a53baa9488b92228

** Affects: netmask (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
