Are you browsing that folder when deleting it from the sidepane? It
which case that's a known issue already fixed to edgy, the window is
closed because the folder it was listing has been moved away and so
keeping displaying a non-existant folder would be wrong

I can't reproduce this problem. I was able to move two folders into the
wastebasket by right-clicking in the Tree view.
Please provide a more detailed explanation of exactly what you tried
(exact filenames, what the current directory is, what the path buttons
list at the top was).
