Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed
Can still reproduce on the 12.04 alpha.
However, after some further digging, this looks specific to gnome-
terminal windows; as described above, I have the following settings:
Decoration Windows: !(class=Gnome-terminal)
Shadow Windows: all
- in order to remove the decoration (but not shadow)
** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided = Low

look.org/content/show.php/Titlelesser?content=82972 which enables the
shadows.
