When trying the 2.6.35~lucid1 backport kernel in 10.04, the Audio device
doesn't auto powerdown after a reboot.
powertop reports:
An audio device is active 100.0% of the time:
hwC0D0 Realtek ALC272X
The 1st apport data is from 2.6.32 (working), the 2nd is from
2.6.35-15-lucid1
I have also confirmed this issue in the Mainline build of 2.6.35:
