Got this bug as I locked the screen with light-locker, logged into the
Guest account (so my main account should still be running), then logged
out of the Guest account and logged back into my main account.

I have installed ubuntu 12.04 beta 2, the system did not update during
the process of installation of Ubuntu, appeared 502 available updates in

As in #7. The unchecked boxes updates slowly disappeared one at a time
over a period of 10 minutes.

Happened while I was updating the list of upgrade packages. I initially
had 149.5 GB but that was from yesterday when I checked. Decided to wait
a day and did a recheck for updates. During this update the error
happened. Hope this helps. Now I have a System program problem

(Similar observations as feedback from jeroen Tiel (js-t) in previous bug
report)
While using Update Manager, updates still showing as visible but not checked
and greyed out like they're disabled. Crash reported, and upon relaunching
Update Manager it appears all updates completed properly.
After updating there are still updates visible in the update manager, on
install it crashed.
The updates show up but have no boxes ticked. Had a lot of trouble with the
update manager.
Had a lot of partial upgrade warnings so unsure if its the previous updates
that play a part in this.

To manage
ror message and can result from a lot of different things. It'd be
useful if you were to review and add AptDaemon messages from your syslog
when this occured to this bug report. You could get this information
using the following command:
grep AptDaemon /var/log/syslog
Thanks in advance.
